
David Yost first developed his love of entertainment in the second grade when he played Dopey in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Hearing the audience laugh at his character had him hooked.
After graduating college David moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and within three months David landed a starring role on what would go on to be one of the world’s most popular television series.
David Yost starred as Billy, the Blue Ranger on international television sensation “The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.” David completed over 200 episodes as well as doing the feature film “Power Rangers: The Movie” distributed through 20th Century Fox.
In the world of Anime, David served as the Manager of International TV Licensing for Pioneer/Geneon Entertainment. David is personally responsible for selling the Anime series “HEAT GUY J” to MTV, “ARMITAGE” to SHOWTIME, “TRIGUN” to Cartoon Network as well closing deals with STARZ and G4 in the USA. David also licensed numerous Anime titles to international distributors and broadcasters.
David has also held the position of Director of Production and Administration for the Sci Fi Lab, a development think tank for the SyFy Channel in which he participated in the creation of innovative show ideas for the network. “Scare Tactics” is one of the longer running series with which David was involved. Also, David is an accomplished TV Producer and recently wrapped “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for BRAVO.
