CALL FOR PANELS

Do you have a unique knowledge of an anime, or aspect Japanese culture that you’d like to share?  Would you like to be considered for the opportunity to present a panel at AFO?  Then fill out this panel application completely by June 17^th, 2013.

Submission of this form does not guarantee that you will be granted this or any other panel.  Selection will be made by AFO Staff and will be based on various criteria including uniqueness of topic, presentation, and presenter’s communication skills.  Decision of AFO Staff is final.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Panelists, though independent of Anime Festival Orlando, are generally viewed by attendees as representatives of AFO, therefore we ask that your panel be viewable by an all ages audience*, and that you refrain from using profanity, lewd or rude gestures and generally be nice. If you have a problem with an attendee or there is a difficult situation an AFO volunteer or staff member should be contacted to attend to the situation.

*Panels of a more mature nature will be scheduled later in the evenings. These panels will have an attendee age restriction.

You will be notified by July 3^rd, 2013 whether your panel request has been accepted or not.  Approved panelists will receive an AFO Panelist badge and recognition in the convention guide.

Please keep in mind that all panels at AFO14 are limited to 1 main host and 1 co-host.  Again, submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance.  You will receive official notification from the Programming Director no later than July 3^rd, 2013.  The deadline and the notification dates are subject to change at the sole discretion of the Programming Director.
