Hey, have you heard about the “Passport to Orlandia”? It allows Pre-Registered Attendees who are staying at the Wyndham Orlando Resort and checking in ON or BEFORE August 4th access to exclusive activities on Thursday night.
Get a head start on the fun!!! Anime Festival Orlando is offering the “Passport to Orlandia” to Pre-Registered 3-Day pass holders at no extra charge. The “Passport to Orlandia” is exclusively available to Pre-Registered 3-day badge holders who are checking in to the Wyndham Orlando Resort on or before Thursday August 4, 2011. You may request your “Passport to Orlandia” on Thursday evening at the Pre-Reg Pickup Window when you get your Membership Badge, just bring your hotel key and your Badge receipt.
With a “Passport to Orlandia” you will be able to attend the Special Exclusive Events happening on Thursday Night August 4th, as well as having premium seating at some of our more popular events throughout the weekend such as the Cosplay Cabaret, and the Anime Music Video Contest. You can also use the Express Lane to save time getting those awesome autographs from the guests.
SPECIAL EVENTS & PRIVILEGES
FOR “PASSPORT TO ORLANDIA” HOLDERS
Your “Passport to Orlandia” gives you access to the following Special Events on Thursday Night:
Karaoke Party (9PM – Midnight)
Hang out and Karaoke. You never know which Guests may show up. Cash Bar will be available to purchase soft drinks; beer or wine for those 21 or older with proper ID.
Meet & Greet Reception (9PM – 11PM)
A casual party atmosphere where you can meet our guests*, hang out and chat. This is a prime opportunity to get a photograph with your favorite actor. Light refreshments will be available. A cash bar will be available to purchase soft drinks; beer and wine for those 21 and older with proper ID. (*as availability permits)
Video Game Tournament – SMASH FOR CASH (8PM – Midnight)
This is the only cash prize videogame tournament at AFO. Come out and prove your worth against some of the best players around. We’re thinking it might be worth $250.
During the weekend there will be Premium Seating* at the following events:

Closing Ceremonies

All events are subject to change depending on attendance, weather or other factors.
Autograph Sessions – throughout the weekend. Schedule will be in the convention guide.
Your “Passport to Orlandia” will allow you to use the Express Lane for autograph sessions, allowing you to speed past the huge lines, get up to two (2) items signed, and then move on to that panel you really want to see.

Checking in to the Wyndham Orlando Resort will also allow you to get an additional night of anime on the in-room 24 hour Anime TV channel.
Who Can Get A Passport to Orlandia?
Pre-Registered Attendees who are staying at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, with a check-in date on or before Thursday, August 4, 2010.
Qualify for your “Passport to Orlandia”
It’s simple; there are just two (2) requirements:
1. You must be a Pre-Registered 3-day attendee (buy your 3-day badge on line before July 19th).
2. You must be a registered guest of the Wyndham Orlando Resort checking-in on or before Thursday, August 4th.
Pre-Registration Pick-up Window will be open from 7PM – 9PM on Thursday, August 4th. This will be the ONLY time you may request your “Passport to Orlandia.”
How to Pick-up your Passport to Orlandia
After you have checked in to the Wyndham and have your room key you can come to the Pre-Registration Pick-up Window to get your AFO badge and request a “Passport to Orlandia.”
There will be a maximum of one (1) “Passport” issued to each AFO Pre-Registered attendee who is also a registered guest of the Wyndham Orlando Resort and who is checked-in on or before Thursday August 4th. “Passports” will only be issued to a maximum of 4 guests per hotel room as the maximum occupancy for each hotel room is 4 per hotel regulations.
Things to Remember about the “Passport to Orlandia” Badge
* The “Passport” does not provide admission.
* The “Passport” must be presented with a valid 3-Day badge to be honored.
* It is valid only to the person issued (non-transferable)
* NO replacements if lost or stolen.
* Will only be issued on Thursday evening (NO exceptions)
* Some events will have limited seating, and not all Passport holders may receive premium seating. It is recommended that you go to the designated queue line area early, as Passport seating will be given on a first come – first served basis.
