-No one under 18 may participate or view this event. No exceptions.

-For those participating, please check in on Saturday by 6 pm at the Cosplay Repair Booth to confirm you will still be performing. If a performer is not able to make it to check in but is still wanting to perform, please contact Moira by email (cosplay@animefestivalorlando.com). Without checking in and not getting in contact, the performer will forfeit their spot in the contest.

-While it is an 18+ event, we ask every performer, regardless of how they identify, that genitals and areolas to be covered during your performance. We will have a bedsheet on hand in case of any wardrobe malfunctioning.

-Judging will be based on stage presence and audience reaction, not on craftsmanship. So make sure to give those judges some attention!

-For contestants that wish to use their own audio, we ask that you submit your audio (in MP3 format!) to the email, cosplay@animefestivalorlando.com no later than June 7th. 

-Phone usage will NOT be allowed by anyone in the room, be it performers or audience members. AFO staff will have security walking about during the contest and making sure no one will be on their phones. It is for the respect of the performers that want to be able to let loose without fear of repercussions. If you must use your phone, you will need to exit the event room, however know that re-entry may be denied if room is at capacity.
