The Happy Happy Cosplay GO GO GO Cosplay Contest will be returning once again to AFO. Watch as cosplayers show off their crafting and performing skills on the Main Events stage! Prepare to be impressed by Central Florida’s best cosplayers, and see who wins all the awards for their cosplay craftmanship and more.
Tales of Orlandia
Tales of Orlandia is a Live Action Convention Experience (LACE) exclusive to Anime Festival Orlando. You can watch the story unfold on the Main Events and Game Show Theater stages, and you can even be part of the tale yourself by joining the Orlandia NPCs in the tavern throughout the weekend.
Game Show Theater
One of AFO’s great traditions is an all-weekend long Game Show Theater! Show off your anime knowledge and game show skills at one of many shows.
Join Tiny Waves for a CosRave Masquerade Party at 3NINE, Rosen Plaza’s nightclub venue next to the lobby. Entry is included with your AFO pass.
Idol Fest
Project AppleVerse is an Idol Dance Duo from Central Florida, consisting of members Apple, the silly green apple, and Universe, the passionate blue star. Combining their names, they are AppleVerse! Their goal is to make others smile with their dance covers, performances, and events. They organize random dance panels and idol events at conventions throughout Florida. They want to make exciting, unforgettable memories with each other, idols in the community, and the audience~!
Ongaku Overdrive and Anime Festival Orlando proudly present Moon Prism Pride, a pride month charity concert that celebrates the music of video games and anime. There will be live bands performing, and we will be raising donations to benefit Zebra Youth, an Orlando-based organization that supports LGBTQ+ youth in Central Florida.
