AI Policy

Anime Festival Orlando is proud to support artists who create original works through their own skill, creativity, and effort. To protect and honor the integrity of our artist community, AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork is not permitted for sale, display, or promotion in Artist Alley or in any area of the convention where art is sold or exhibited.

This includes (but is not limited to):

• Artwork wholly generated by artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
• Works that have been significantly altered or enhanced by AI systems.
• AI-generated assets used as part of a composition or print that is presented as original art.

All artwork sold, displayed, or promoted at AFO must be created by the registered artist or studio using their own original creative methods.

Artists found to be selling or displaying AI-generated content may be asked to remove those items or forfeit their table without refund. If you see AI art or stolen art in general being sold at AFO, please notify our team and we will investigate it. AFO reserves the right to make final determinations regarding what constitutes AI-generated or AI-assisted art.

This has been our policy for a few years, but with generative AI becoming more powerful and widely used, we are making this public announcement to affirm and clarify the policy and our commitment to our valued community of artists.
